Backyard Renovation: Week 2

We are currently renovating our backyard. I wish I had taken pictures of what it looked like before we started... I have week 1 pictures on Mando's iPhone. Basically it was a mess. Weeds, dead trees, overgrown trees, random junk.
This week Mando and my FIL, Severo, leveled out the yard with soil so we can put in sod. The sod comes in tomorrow. I am so excited to have grass, and not nasty dirt and weeds. Can't wait. We also have a huge cactus behind our fence, which is chainlink and leads to the trail behind our house. My FIL was digging in the yard and found a syringe. Oh the joys of living in Antioch!!
